Barbara was born and raised in Poland but has lived in the greater Washington, DC area for more than half of her life. As a bilingual lactation consultant, fluent in English and Polish, Barbara is dedicated to supporting parents and babies on their feeding journeys.

Her passion for helping families began when she worked as an Au Pair and deepened as she earned her degree in Early Childhood Education. Her time working in childcare gave her firsthand insight into the challenges parents face, particularly when it comes to feeding and newborn care.

Barbara has extensive knowledge of Tethered Oral Tissues due to her professional experience working in the office of a tie release provider, as well as a personal understanding of the impact of oral restrictions. In 2021, she had her own tongue-tie released—a life-changing experience after years of challenging symptoms. This fuels her dedication to supporting families navigating similar issues.

When she is not working with moms and babies, Barbara loves spending time outdoors with her husband; whether traveling, hiking, biking, or snowboarding, they enjoy exploring the world together. On quieter days, you can find Barbara at home watching Netflix or solving puzzles.
